定量又称为克重，是衡量纸张物理性能的重要指标，一般来说，纸的定量高，它的抗张强度、环压强度、撕裂度、挺度和厚度指标相对就高。用高定量的纸材制作瓦楞纸箱，其抗压强度相对就高些。所以，要制作强度高的瓦楞纸箱，选择高定量的纸材，往往是客户的基本要求之一。
Quantitative, also known as gram weight, is an important index to measure the physical properties of paper. Generally speaking, the paper with high quantitative has relatively high tensile strength, ring crush strength, tearing strength, stiffness and thickness. Using high quantitative paper to make corrugated box, its compressive strength is relatively higher. Therefore, to produce high strength corrugated box, choose high quantitative paper, is often one of the basic requirements of customers.
2、紧度

它是指每立方厘米纸张的重量，纸的紧度如何，反映了它的纤维组织结构的疏密程度。箱板纸和瓦楞纸的紧度值高，它们的耐破度、环压强度、耐戳穿和抗张性能相对就好，那么，纸箱的整体强度相对也就高。但是，若紧度过大，纸材容易脆裂，尤其是白板纸，紧度值若明显大于标准，其耐折度性能将会有所下降。
It refers to the weight of paper per cubic centimeter, and the tightness of the paper reflects the density of its fiber structure. If the tightness value of cardboard and corrugated paper is high, their bursting strength, ring crush strength, puncture resistance and tensile performance are relatively good, then the overall strength of the carton is relatively high. However, if the tightness is too large, the paper is easy to crack, especially the white board. If the tightness value is significantly greater than the standard, the folding performance will decline.

一般来说，用环压强度好的纸制作出来的纸箱强度相对就高。原纸的环压指数如何，很大程度上影响着纸箱的整体强度，尤其是对纸箱的抗压强度影响较大。
Generally speaking, the strength of cartons made of paper with good ring pressure strength is relatively high. The ring pressure index of base paper has a great influence on the overall strength of the carton, especially on the compressive strength of the carton.
4、施胶度

纸张、纸板在生产时，施加一定量的松香胶等耐水性的胶体物后，使纸面增加抗水性，这种生产加工工艺称为施胶。施胶度是衡量胶量大小的质量指标，按照标准，可采用墨水划线法和表面吸收重量法进行检测。工厂也可因陋就简，用“滴水法”检测纸面的施胶度。其做法是：在纸面滴一点水，若水滴洇渗速度快，说明施胶度不好;若水滴不易出现洇渗现象，水珠浮在纸面上，说明施胶度就好。制作瓦楞纸箱的原纸，要求施胶度要好，这样不易吸湿，纸箱的含水率稳定，可较好地保证纸箱的强度。

The method is: drop a little water on the surface of the paper, if the water drop infiltration speed is fast, it means that the sizing degree is not good; if the water drop is not easy to appear infiltration phenomenon, the water drops float on the surface of the paper, it means that the sizing degree is good. The base paper for making corrugated box requires good sizing degree, which is not easy to absorb moisture, and the moisture content of the box is stable, which can better ensure the strength of the box.
5、含水率

所谓含水率是指纸或纸板中水分的含量，用百分比表示。含水率对纸箱箱体强度有着很大的影响，所以，这也是含水率成为纸箱的三个重要缺陷检验项目之一的主要原因。当纸箱的含水率偏高时，其耐戳穿抗压强度和耐破强度等性能将相对下降。瓦楞纸具有一定的耐压、抗张、抗戳穿和耐折性能，若水分含量过高的话，纸质就显得柔软、挺度差，压楞和粘合质量也差。如果水分明显低于下极限标准值时，压楞时就容易出现破裂现象。如果瓦楞纸和箱板纸的水分含量悬殊过大时，单面机加工出来的瓦楞纸板，就容易出现卷曲，下工序裱合时就容易出现起泡和脱胶现象，使纸箱的强度明显下降。

When the moisture content of the carton is high, the bursting strength and compressive strength of the carton will decrease. If the moisture content is too high, the paper will appear soft, poor stiffness, and poor quality of corrugating and bonding. If the moisture content is obviously lower than the lower limit standard value, it is easy to crack during corrugating. If the moisture content difference between corrugated paper and cardboard is too large, the corrugated paper produced by single-sided machining is easy to curl, and blistering and degumming are easy to occur in the next mounting process, so that the strength of the carton is significantly reduced.
6、耐折度
6. Folding endurance
纸箱作为一种包装容器，其摇盖需经常作开启活动，这就要求纸材应具有一定的耐折能力。纸的横向耐折度是测定纸在一定的张力、速度和角度条件下，对150×15mm规格的试样作1350角的往复性折叠试验，当纸样断裂时，即为耐折度的检验次数。制造箱板纸和折板纸的浆料特性、纸的含水率、紧度、纤维长度和结合力的牢度以及原纸受存放时间和温度等因素的影响，很大程度上决定着原纸的耐折度。所以，要提高纸箱的耐折度性能，做好原材料的质量把关是重要的一环。
